The mass production of agricultural implements for the farm and appliances for the home created a new class of wealthy entrepreneurs in North America during the last 30 years of the 19th century. With both money and time available for leisure, it became fashionable to construct large estate homes seen in Kingsville today.
Besides the construction of the massive Mettawas Hotel, a waterworks system had to be completed in order to provide adequate water.
The Mettawas Hotel was designed by architects George D Mason and Zachariah Rice.
Now Mettawas Lane townhomes offer beach access to all residents of Mettawas Lane.
Kingsville Ontario now offers a wide range of real estate new and old.
